Notes: On my way home from Cambridge the other day, I noticed that the annual field of Pick Your Own sunflowers was growing well, along the A1060 just north of Writtle. This morning, I took a quick trip out there again, with the promise of blue skies. The sun was quite strong, making nice shadows on the sunflower head, and bringing the yellow colour into sharp contrast against the sky. I took some wider shots of the field too, but liked this closeup the best.
