Notes: It was a lovely sunny morning, so I headed out to the Colchester Society of Model and Experimental Engineers who had an open day, with my Dad. The have two gagues of track and several great little engines whizzing around. Nice to smell some steam in the air after being cooped up all day yesterday.

Notes: This is a character for my miniature teapot shop, whom I acquired from a visit to Maple Street yesterday. This week’s theme is Red, so I thought she would make a good picture for today to fit the subject. She is very fond of Art Deco teapots, as you can see.

Title: The Eagle Has Landed

Notes: This week’s 366 theme is Toys & Games, so I dug out one of my childhood models for this shot. For those of you not accustomed to watching bad 70′s Science Fiction, this is the Dinky Toys Eagle Freighter #360 White Body/Red Thrusters (2nd release) (I’m not that much of a geek, just found the spec on the web!) from Space 1999, which I used to watch avidly as a kid. It still has all 4 nuclear waste pods and a working winch. The paintwork is in pretty good nick, and it hasn’t lost any of the plastic thrusters. I should really have taken a photo of this for Day #203 as that was the 39th anniversary of the Moon landing. Better late than never!
