Day #94

Day #94Title: Exploring Violet
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 50mm EF f/1.8 + 12mm extension tube
Notes: Today sees the end of the 7 rainbow colours, with this image of Violet. However, I’ve had a lot of fun exploring single colours and I think I might have a go at a few others which aren’t in the "rainbow", like pink, brown, black and white. Watch this space…

Day #93Title: Exploring Indigo
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 50mm EF f/1.8 + 12mm extension tube
Notes: Exhausting day today – finished off my presentation in time for this afternoon’s meeting, which seemed to go very well, thankfully. After getting home and catching up with some jobs, I had a bite to eat and got on with my exploration of Indigo. This week’s 366 official theme is The letter J, so here is some of my Jewellery, sitting on my Jacket.

Day #92Title: Exploring Blue
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 50mm EF f/1.8 + 12mm extension tube
Notes: I’ve been really busy preparing a presentation for a meeting tomorrow, but managed to find the time to have more fun with everyday objects. This is the top from a water bottle with a sports cap. Add a desk lamp and you get some great patterns and shadows.

Day #91Title: Exploring Green
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 50mm EF f/1.8 + 12mm extension tube
Notes: Some more table top work today, for the my rainbow week theme. This is a pencil case I’ve had for years – it shimmers wth irridescence in the right light. And it had the perfect combination of textures and different greens to give it a bit of interest.

Day #88

Day #88Title: Exploring Red
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 50mm EF f/1.8
Notes: Inspired by some single-colour portrait shots on Flickr, I decided I’d spend the next few days exploring the colour spectrum. And it’s dark and rainy outside again, so some table top photography will cheer me up. The first colour is Red, and this little chair fitted the bill perfectly.
