Notes: This morning dawned rather cloudy, and once we had checked out of our hotel, Alistair and I decided to go for a ride on the trams – after all, you can’t come to Blackpool without having a go. We spent most of the day roaming about and got as far as Cleveley, then walked some of the way back into the centre of Blackpool finding some more geocaches. On the way, the weather perked up and blue skies returned. Then we had a bite to eat and realised it was about time for sunset. It was pretty spectacular again – worth waiting around for – despite that meaning I didn’t catch a train until nearly 7pm and got home just before midnight.

Notes: After another great day at BarCampBournemouth, we sat on the beach for a bit of a wind-down, before heading off for a lovely Italian dinner.

Notes: The weather was a little bit disappointing today, the sun was hiding behind the clouds for most of the day. However, we still managed to have another long walk and find some caches. This view of the beach shows how much sand moves about – the stairs underneath were almost entirely covered up.
