Day #1029Title: Sugar Frosting
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 60mm EF-S f/2.8 USM
Notes: A busy day today, but I made the time for a few shots first thing with the frost on top of the car.

Day #948 Title: Grille

Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 20mm EF f/1.7
Notes: Not many opportunities for pictures today. This was the grille of a car where I went to judge this evening at Wantz Hall in Dagenham.

Day #898 Title: S Is For Shiny
Location: Billericay
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: I had lunch in Billericay today with a friend, and took the 7D along as the sun was out. As I was heading back to the car park, I noticed this shiny red Mini Cooper S parked in the High Street. However, when I got it home, I realised there was actually rather a lot of dust on the car – so spent ages “despotting” it in Photoshop. That will teach me to buy an 18Mpix camera!

Day #784 Title: Wet ‘n’ Wild
Location: Roxwell
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 20mm EF f/1.7
Notes: I drove through some snow this morning to a client meeting in Cambridge, and hoped to get some white shots on the way home this afternoon. But by that time, it had mostly melted and the driving hazards were replaced with flooding in the road! This is just by the spot where I took Day #757‘s shot, on a minor road leading to Roxwell. The main A1060 nearby was also flooded with significant amounts of water. Just goes to show that you should not rule out an interesting picture even in grim weather!

Day #780 Title: Shiny Pavements
Location: Gray’s Inn Road
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 20mm EF f/1.7
Notes: We got rather wet in London today. But at least it provided some colour in the pavements on an otherwise grey and drab day.

Day #759 Title: The Man In The Red Turban
Location: Marylebone Lane, London
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 20mm EF f/1.7
Notes: I went to London today for a very productive meeting about possible future contract work. On the way back home, I had a quick wander around some of the back roads just off Oxford Street. I was framing up this shot when a man in a vivid red turban walked by – marvellous timing! I thought this would make a great shot for the Treasure Hunt theme 40: In The City.

Day #750 Title: Running On Empty
Location: Upminster
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 20mm EF f/1.7
Notes: I went to judge a competition at Upminster Camera Club this evening, and realised just as I was leaving that my car was showing empty on the fuel gague. Thankfully there was enough to get me home again! I nearly went with a picture of the Four Musketeers for today’s picture – as they were past and present 365’ers, but they seemed a little reluctant so in the end I chose this one, as it makes a good one for the Treasure Hunt theme 25: Circles.
