Day #1455 Title: A Christmas Walk
Location: Elham, Kent
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 IOS
Notes: It was a bit of a grey morning, but we decided to go for an hour’s walk around the local countryside before returning to prep the vegetables for Christmas dinner. This was a view just as we were reaching the end of our trek, having come up the path and looking back over the valley.

Day #1328 Title: Over The Hill
Location: Herrington Country Park, Sunderland
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 10-22mm EF-S f/3.5-4.5 USM
Notes: Despite it being quite sunny today, I didn’t take that many photos. Alistair and I went to a Teddy Bears’ Picnic Geocaching event at Herrington Country Park near Sunderland. After a fine feast at the picnic with our teddies, we went on a plastic box hunt around the extensive park. All good fun.

Day #1196 Title: Peaceful Moorings – April
Location: Sandford Mill Lock, Chelmer & Blackwater Navigation
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: I felt pretty awful when I woke up with a hacking cough and dizzy spells, so spent most of the morning in bed. Having taken some medication, I felt up to a short walk by the canal to get this month’s shot for Treasure Hunt Theme #4 – Scenic Location April. It certainly looks a bit different from the March version. And at least the day wasn’t completely wasted.

Day #1195 Title: Not Quite Cloudless
Location: Little Totham
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: With glorious sunshine all day, I enjoyed a great geocaching outing around Little Totham and Tolleshunt Major. It’s the time of year when the Oilseed Rape is beginning to come into bloom, so I combined it with the blue sky and a tiny cloud.
