Day #1434 Title: Weighty
Location: At home
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 IOS
Strobist: 1 x YN560 from each side at the front with Stofen softbox @ 1/128;
Notes: After a couple of days of busy photography and a day today of grotty weather, all I could manage was a simple shot of one of the paperweights I keep in the studio.

Day #1417 Title: Tide Marks
Location: Costa Coffee, Chelmsford
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 20mm EF f/1.7
Notes: Enjoyed a coffee whilst doing some shopping this afternoon. Didn’t take long for the tide to go out… It was a nice hot drink on a cold day, so I thought it made a good find for Treasure Hunt Theme #27 – Hot.

Day #1409 Title: The Smoke Dragon
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 60mm EF-S f/2.8 USM
Strobist: 1 x YN560 from camera left with DIY snoot @ 1/32, timed with CameraAxe5 and Microphone Sensor.
Notes: I’ve been playing with fire today. There were several nice shapes which formed from my match experiments. I found a good image for today’s MoNovember shot. But by far the best was this Smoke Dragon who appeared as if from nowhere. Must have been Dai’s doing ;-)

Day #1296 Title: Sphere Of Influence
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 60mm EF-S f/2.8 USM
Strobist: 1 x YN560 from underneath with DIY softbox @ 1/64
Notes: I tried my hand at more glass photography today. Getting the lighting right is hard! I initially set up shots with some old blue glass poison bottles, none of which I was entirely happy with. Feeling I was losing my marbles slightly, I turned to my spares for inspiration! I’ve photographed some before, but different lighting produces quite different results.
