Day #1453 Title: Dockside Colour
Location: Wivenhoe, Essex
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 IOS
Notes: Dad and I took a quick walk along the Quayside this morning. Although the weather was predominantly grey and typically cement lid, I did manage to find a splash of colour next to the small local fishing fleet, moored up for the holidays.

Day #1404 Title: Beads And Braid

 Notes: I visited a friend this evening who is a very keen flower arranger. She particularly likes contemporary arrangements and had this rather nice vase on her dining table. It was a bit too big to photograph well with the flowers in too, so I homed in on the details of the pot itself.

Day #1323 Title: Tynemouth Tracks
Location: Tynemouth
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 10-22mm EF-S f/3.5-4.5 USM
Notes: We enjoyed a sunny but windy walk around Tynemouth this afternoon, and took a stroll out to the end of the harbour wall to the old Lighthouse. Along the wall, these tracks were put in to allow the old cranes to move easily and unload from moored boats. Long disused, they now have some great textures and colours.

Notes: A quick shot at the Chelmsford & Essex Museum this afternoon, after a meeting nearby. This is part of the cannon on display in the grounds, commemorating the Battle of Sevastapol in 1855.
