Day #3404Title: A Chink In The Clouds
Location: Embankment, London
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GX7 / Panasonic 20mm f/1.7 Lumix G II ASPH
Notes: There was fabulous light this evening as I walked along the Embankment after work. I loved the sky behind the London Eye here, and the chink of blue sky beyond.

Day #3396Title: Dark Skies And Looming Clouds
Location: Woodbridge, Suffolk
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GX8 / Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 Lumix G X Vario ASPH Power OIS
Notes: I enjoyed a great day out geocaching around Woodbridge today. It’s not somewhere I had visited much in the past, but there were plenty of boxes to search for. This landscape was enhanced by the dramatic cloudscape above.

Day #3394Title: Sparsely Populated
Location: Woodham Walter, Essex
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GX8 / Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 Lumix G X Vario ASPH Power OIS
Notes: I was busy at home again for most of the day, but managed to nip out for a short walk this afternoon. I had a nice stroll in Woodham Walter, where I spotted this colourful scene in the fields.

Day #3391Title: Iron-Clad Tree
Location: Noak Hill, Essex
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GX8 / Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 Lumix G X Vario ASPH Power OIS
Notes: This curious iron-clad tree was one I spotted during a little bike ride to find some geocaches today. I’m not sure if the metalwork was supposed to keep the tree together, it looked rather odd but has clearly been like that for many years.

Day #3389Title: Dare To Be Different
Location: Hazeleigh, Essex
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GX8 / Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 Lumix G X Vario ASPH Power OIS
Notes: I was exploring a different part of the disused South Woodham Ferrers to Maldon railway line this afternoon, around Hazeleigh. I liked this avenue of trees, but liked the fact that one of them was wonky even better!

Day #3385

Day #3385Title: Géocaching Sans Frontières
Location: Adinkerke, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GX8 / Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 Lumix G X Vario ASPH Power OIS
Notes: Continuing my little geocaching trip abroad, today I drove to Belgium to find some new caches and have a ride on my fold up bike. There was a great series of 45 caches which straddled the Franco-Belgian border in a big circuit on back roads and cycle paths. It took me a little over 3 hours to complete. The weather was fantastic. Here’s my bike propped up in Belgium, while I’m standing in France (just). The convenience of open borders is something we are going to miss terribly when we’re out of Europe. For the moment, I’m making the most of it.
