Flooded Fields

Flooded Fields
Title: Flooded Fields
Location: Little Baddow, Essex
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: I went for a quick explore this afternoon and found some flooded fields – this spot was on quite high ground, so I dread to think how bad it was in the valley. I didn’t take a walk across, even though I had my wellies on!

Thy Lock Overfloweth

Thy Lock Overfloweth
Title: Thy Lock Overfloweth
Location: Beeleigh Lock, Essex
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: The Chelmer & Blackwater Navigation is very high at the moment after all the rain. Many of the locks are overflowing their gates – this one  at Beeleigh is no exception. I liked the longer exposure which gave a great sense of the flow.

Southwold In Sepia

Southwold In Sepia
Title: Southwold In Sepia
Location: Southwold, Suffolk
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: I managed to spend an hour or so by the seaside in Southwold today, watching the waves crash against the groynes as the sun set slowly. I liked the angle of the breakwater here, and thought a sepia toning would suit it very well.
