Location: Tanfield Railway, Co. Durham
Camera: Franke & Heidecke Rolleiflex T1 / Tessar 75mm f/3.5

Notes: We visited the Tanfield Railway today and enjoyed a good look around the sidings, also seeing several departing steam trains. This is at Andrew’s House, with a little tank engine about to leave on its next journey.

Tanker Details

Tanker Details
Title: Tanker Details
Location: Bowes Railway, County Durham
Camera: Braun Paxette II M / Pointikar 45mm f/2.8
Film: Ilford FP4+ 125
Notes: The Bowes Railway is the World’s only standard gauge cable railway, parts of which date from the earliest days of railway innovation, around 1826 by George Stephenson. Although there weren’t any trains running, the place still has plenty of interesting things to see and keen volunteers who are more than happy to share their knowledge of the site’s history. This tanker was sitting outside one of the engine sheds.

Jubilee Garden Gate

Jubilee Garden Gate
Title: Jubilee Garden Gate
Location: Hylands Park, Chelmsford
Camera: Franke & Heidecke Rolleiflex T1 / Tessar 75mm f/3.5
Film: Fomapan 400
Notes: The Jubilee Garden in Hylands Park is always good to wander around, but today I found this wonderful detail from one of the gates which opens onto the main grounds of Hylands House. I loved the shapes – it’s very tactile.
