August ’10 Review

August was relatively quiet for photography. I did enjoy my week in Newcastle, despite the weather! We managed to get some interesting shots at the Newcastle Metro Gosforth depot open day event, particularly in the workshops:

Then it was off to Hartlepool to see the Tall Ships with some friends from the Newcastle Photowalk group:

Later in the week, despite the rain, there were a few moments of sunshine in the evenings, and we went for an excellent walk along the Quayside. Here are some of the best clouds around:

Later in the month, I also saw some spectacular clouds and light near Little Baddow one evening (August seems to be the month for clouds and storms!). This shot was a very close contender for Day #966:
