We also explored stretches of the Bourne Valley Greenway, which runs for several miles through the centre of the town. It’s a real hidden gem. This was a close contender for Day #458:

Easter weekend wasn’t particularly good for weather, and it wasn’t until later in the month that I had a couple of good days out with the camera. One was on 22nd April whilst out geocaching around Little Burstead. This was a strong contender for Day #478:

I spent the next day on a trip to Marks Hall with a photographer friend David. We enjoyed the gardens and I found this tranquil scene which almost made it for Day #479:

Our Chelmsford Photo Walk started the Centenary Circle on the last Sunday of April, walking the Broomfield-Springfield leg around New Hall. This dandelion was taken on the walk to the Tudor school, which I also liked for Day #482:
