Day #267Title: Moonrise Over The Racecourse
Location: Great Leighs, Essex
Camera: Kodak Bantam Special Art Deco / Kodak Anastigmat Ektar 45mm f/2
Film: Kodak Verichrome Pan 125 (expired 06/75)
Notes: A dark and moody shot this evening, I left it rather late to make a photo so took this one on the way to my photo club meeting this evening. A great image for Treasure Hunt Theme #64 – The Moon And Stars.

Day #266Title: Tramshed Shadows
Location: Thorpe Bay, Essex
Camera: Kodak Bantam Special Art Deco / Kodak Anastigmat Ektar 45mm f/2
Film: Kodak Verichrome Pan 125 (expired 06/75)
Notes: I spotted these fantastic shadows at Thorpe Bay where I was having a wander making some medium format colour slides. This is the side of the old tramshed along the prom. It makes a perfect shot for Treasure Hunt Theme #09 – Monthly Project – September.

Day #265Title: Sawtooth
Location: White Notley, Essex
Camera: Kodak Bantam Special Art Deco / Kodak Anastigmat Ektar 45mm f/2
Film: Kodak Verichrome Pan 125 (expired 06/75)
Notes: Thankfully this second roll of Verichrome Pan didn’t unroll itself once finished, so the shots have all survived. I liked the graphical shapes seen here on the road while out walking in White Notley.

Day #264Title: Emerging From The (Film) Fog
Location: Sandon, Essex
Camera: Kodak Bantam Special Art Deco / Kodak Anastigmat Ektar 45mm f/2
Film: Kodak Verichrome Pan 125 (expired 06/75)
Notes: Another shot which suffered from the film fogging accident as I took the roll out after finishing it. Oh well, go with what you’ve got! It makes a good shot for Treasure Hunt Theme #23 – Emerging.

Day #263Title: Lightning Strikes?
Location: Crays Hill, Essex
Camera: Kodak Bantam Special Art Deco / Kodak Anastigmat Ektar 45mm f/2
Film: Kodak Verichrome Pan 125 (expired 06/75)
Notes: The shapes of this gnarly old tree caught my eye as I was out for a walk near Crays Hill. The fogging at the bottom is from a little accident I had with the roll film while I was taking it out of the camera – it wasn’t wound up tightly and it got some light leaks. Ooops.

Day #262Title: Yo-Yo Boy
Location: High Stree, Chelmsford
Camera: Kodak Bantam Special Art Deco / Kodak Anastigmat Ektar 45mm f/2
Film: Kodak Verichrome Pan 125 (expired 06/75)
Notes: I decided to take the Bantam Special out for a spin today. I framed up this scene just as someone walked in from the left, playing with a yo-yo.

Day #192

Day #192Title: St. Clements, Leigh-on-Sea
Location: Leigh-on-Sea, Essex
Camera: Kodak Bantam Special Art Deco / Kodak Anastigmat Ektar 45mm f/2
Film: Kodak Tri-X 400
Notes: Testing out my Bantam Special Art Deco 828 rollfilm camera today, with a trip to Leigh-on-Sea. This is St. Clement’s Church at the top of the hill, another in the bag for the Essex Churches list. The Bantam was loaded with 35mm film respooled onto an 828 roll (Kodak Tri-X 400 from B&H in New York), hence the sprocket holes. I also have some expired original 828 film, but I didn’t want to use that for the camera test – I always try to use fresh film stock when testing so I know if anything goes wrong, it’s the camera not the film. It looks like the spool here is a bit leaky around the edges, but I guess that adds to the charm!
