After a busy few weeks at work, it is time for my holiday in Ireland. Kevin and Bob won the Minions’ ballot to come with me. We were searching out Irish Treasure – the oldest Geocache in Europe! It’s been hidden on a clifftop near Bray since June 2000. There are now more than a dozen types of geocache, but this is one of the first kind, perfect for Topic 46 – Tradition or Traditional.

The Minions insisted on coming out geocaching with me today. We found a fantastic box full of bright, shiny gold treasure. Kevin, Stuart and Bob were transfixed. I had to drag them away kicking and screaming – they were trying to cram their pockets full of the swag! Perfect for Topic 10 – Bright.
You may think that it’s hard work reinventing the wheel. But what if you actually invented it the first time? How hard would that be?!
Not very, by the looks of things. Cro-Minion (a distant relative of Kevin, we reckon), proudly shows off his new mode of transport, a shiny red bicycle complete with two lovely wheels. Perfect for Topic 44 – Round.
The boys heard I was going on on a little jaunt to France and Belgium for a couple of days now that I have just renewed my passport. I thought no more about it until I realised they had stowed away in my luggage! So here we have Kevin, Bob and Stuart at the low-key border between Belgium and France on the northern coast. An ideal shot for Topic 49 – Travel.
Ah, those Minions have a naughty sense of humour. Today Kevin and Bob hid my glasses and would only let me wear these Minion Goggles for today’s picture. They also insisted on climbing inside to photobomb me! Well I needed to take a shot for Topic 24 – Self Portrait, so I guess they did me a favour!
