Day #319

Day #319Title: Playground Shadows
Location: Margaretting
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: There was a bit of sun about today, so I nipped out during lunchtime for a breath of fresh air and took the camera with me. This was in a pleasant little playground in Margaretting – I’ve driven by many times but never stopped for a look before. I love the light this time of year (when we get some!).

Day #285Title: Crisp Afternoon On The River
Location: Chelmer & Blackwater Navigation, near Ulting
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: Despite having a bad back, I managed a walk along the Chelmer & Blackwater Navigation this afternoon. I started off from Hoe Mill Lock and went to the church at Ulting and back. It was a marvellous autumn day, with clear blue skies, bright sun and people messing about in boats. A lovely atmosphere all round.

Day #278Title: Triangulation
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: I enjoyed a walk just north of Blackmore this afternoon, and picked a load of wild blackberries to eat this evening. But sadly the weather was cloudy and very windy, so there weren’t any photographs worth showing from that trip. However, I noticed this rather nice shadow at home – good job I snapped it as an “insurance” shot, before I went out.

Day #270

Day #270Title: Cater House In The Can
Location: Chelmsford
Camera: Canon Ixus 850IS compact
Notes: Meetings, meetings, meetings. This week seems to have been nothing but. And another one for me today in Chelmsford. The sun was out and the sky blue, so I shot this view of Cater House reflected in the River Can, as I was on my way to the venue.
