Day #727

Day #727 Title: Breakthrough
Location: Burnham-on-Crouch
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: I had intended to take a trip to Maldon for the annual Mud Race today, but I got half way there and the traffic was silly, so I detoured to Burnham instead. The sun came out as I walked along the promenade, breaking through the clouds. I took a few pictures and then enjoyed a nice cup of tea and a toasted teacake in a little café looking at the water.

Day #561 Title: Evening Fields
Location: Edney Common, Essex
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: This was taken at the end of a 9.5 mile hike around Endey Common, Loves Green and Mill Green this afternoon and early evening. We did manage to stop at the pub for a little refreshment on the way round, so it wasn’t all bad! After a little light rain (we trudged along under our brollies), the sun came out again and we were presented with this scene: all rather pretty.

Day #506

Day #506Title: Down By The Tyne
Location: Corbridge, Northumberland
Camera: Canon EOS 30D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: We decided to head out west this afternoon for a spot of cache hunting. This was a nice view along the Tyne at Corbridge, and represented the changable cloudscape of the afternoon quite well. We managed to survive without getting wet too!
