Day #851 Title: Ariel’s Courtyard
Location: White City
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 20mm EF f/1.7
Notes: Another very busy day in the studio today, so I didn’t have much time to get out for a photo in the daylight. By the time I had a few minutes to catch my breath, it was beginning to get dark and raining heavily. So I just managed a picture in the central courtyard of the “donut” at Telly Centre. You can see the statue of Ariel lording it up over everything.

Day #850 Title: Dandelion Canopy
Location: At home
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 20mm EF f/1.7
Notes: I am ashamed to say that this is the current state of my back garden. I haven’t had time to cut the grass in weeks, or if I have, it’s been raining or too wet under foot. Still, at least it makes a suitable candidate for Treasure Hunt Theme #33 – Worm’s Eye View.

Day #849Title: Target Practice
Location: White City
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 20mm EF f/1.7
Notes: These are the circular barcodes which are mounted in the studio lighting grid. They enable robotic control of the cameras for Virtual Reality processing. I liked all the different patterns.

Day #848Title: Morning Fields
Location: Ingatestone
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 20mm EF f/1.7
Notes: Uncharacteristically, I was early for the train this morning, so I took a short walk for some photos near the station. The Oilseed rape is beginning to flower, and I liked the way this old tree framed the sky.

Day #845Title: Handy
Location: Cambridge
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 20mm EF f/1.7
Notes: I spent the day at Barcamb3 in Cambridge, held at the offices of software development company Red Gate. Each employee has a hand print on one wall, and I liked this rather attractive multi-coloured example from Elizabeth. I thought it would also make a good addition to the Treasure Hunt Theme 24: Hands.
