Day #1057

Day #1057Title: Illuminations
Location: Ipswich
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 20mm EF f/1.7
Notes: I spent an enjoyable evening having dinner with a couple of friends in Ipswich. The Town Hall was just next to the restaurant, and has had its Christmas decorations installed recently. It looked quite pretty as they changed colour every few seconds.

Day #1042Title: Holbeck Urban Village
Location: Leeds
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 20mm EF f/1.7
Notes: After Leeds Hack had finished, we headed back to our friend’s place to stay for the evening. The quickest way is to walk along the tow path of the Leeds & Liverpool Canal. A little way along, you get this view back towards Holbeck Urban Village (one of the generous sponsors of Leedshack, as it happens). They run a scheme to regenerate the area of the city south of the canal. I love the reflection in the water.

Day #957

Day #957 Title: Penthouse View
Location: City Island, Leeds
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 20mm EF f/1.7
Notes: I stopped off on my way home from Newcastle in Leeds to visit friends who were having a flat-warming party. They have just moved into a 13th-floor flat in City Island, with spectacular views across the city below. This is the landscaped courtyard as they look down on it.
