Day #942

Day #942 Title: Geraniums At The Window
Location: Danbury
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: I have driven by this cottage on my way through Danbury many times. I usually think “oh, I must stop and take a photo of it on the way home” and then promptly forget. Well, tonight, I remembered! I loved the bright vibrant Geraniums against the black and white of the cottage.

Day #911 Title: Jasmine Flowers
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 60mm EF-S f/2.8 USM
Notes: I make no apology that I seem to be going through a bit of a flower/macro phase at the moment. I’m really enjoying using the 60mm macro lens, and this time of year there is plenty of naturally beautiful things at which to point it! This is one of the little fragrant Jasmine flowers which cover the arch over my back gate. They have just started to bloom since the weekend. The smell is wonderful, and reminds me that Summer is here at last! A great addition for the Treasure Hunt Theme 44 – Things I Love Or Hate.

Day #890 Title: Urban Foxgloves
Location: Gray’s Inn Road, London
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 20mm EF f/1.7
Notes: I was in London all day for a training course, but found time to nip out during a break to grab a few shots in the courtyard of Goodenough College, where the course was being held. I was quite surprised to find these foxgloves growing in one corner.
