Day #1184Title: Bleached
Location: Thaxted
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: On the way home from all-day meetings in south Cambridgeshire, I stopped off briefly in Thaxted to grab a few shots. This is a detail from the 600-year-old Guildhall, which I thought fitted well for this week’s 52Themes2011 subject, High Key.

Day #1183Title: Afternoon Swim
Location: Paper Mill Lock
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: I had a quick walk near Paper Mill Lock this afternoon. The rather unattractive concrete road bridge looked much more appealing in the reflection of the canal – obligingly broken up by the wake from a passing duck.

Day #1182Title: Beauty In Blue
Location: Warley Place, Brentwood
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 60mm EF-S f/2.8 USM
Notes: I enjoyed a great afternoon out with the Chelmsford Flickr Walk folks at Warley Place. The sun shone for a while, and there were plenty of shots to be had. This rather nice Scilla caught my eye. You can see the rest of my shots here.
