Day #1352

Day #1352 Title: The Foyer
Location: Barbican Centre, London
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 10-22mm EF-S f/3.5-4.5 USM
Notes: I was working in London again today and took a walk through the Barbican on my way there. I liked the coloured lights in the ceiling and the distorted grid pattern achieved with the ultra-wide angle lens.

Day #1284 Title: On Reflection
Location: Barbican, London
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 20mm EF f/1.7
Notes: It rained a monsoon today, but luckily I was inside the office so I escaped getting wet. On the way back to Liverpool Street some hours later,  I spotted this scene near the Barbican and thought the tower block’s reflection would make a good find for Treasure Hunt Theme #61 – Horizontal or Vertical.

Day #1281 Title: Highwalk Curves
Location: Barbican, London
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 50mm EF f/1.8
Notes: I took another walk to work via the Barbican this morning. My route went via the Highwalk from Moorgate, where this new section has been added to access some spiral stairs next to Citypoint. I loved the way the shadows of the perforated railings echoed the texture on the pavement.
