Day #1746

Day #1746 Title: Light Blue
Location: Great Notley
Camera: Canon PowerShot G12
Notes: We endured a grotty day weather-wise before I took Ken to Great Notley Photography Club to give his excellent talk on photographing Mountain Light. Afterwards we retired to the pub with a few members for more enlightening after-show chat. This was made in the pub garden on the way in.

Day #1738 Title: Tasty Fish Platter
Location: The Lion, Boreham
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF1 / 20mm f/1.7
Notes: Another day, another tasty pub lunch. This time Alistair and I dined at The Lion in Boreham – which is far more swanky inside than it looks. The food was excellent too, if a little pricey. And of course we managed to find a few more geocaches nearby afterwards.

Day #1479 Title: Paved With Gold
Location: Great Notley
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 50mm EF f/1.8
Notes: A dull dreary day with no opportunity for photography, so I took my camera with me to our club Committee meeting at the pub tonight. I was glad I grabbed the gorillapod on the way out too, as I was able to take a picture of the slab textures and colours in the beer garden on my way in. At 4″, it’s longer than I would normally use, so I thought it would make a good subject for Treasure Hunt Theme #46 – Long Exposure.
