Day #1826

Day #1826 Title: Perpendiculars
Location: Chelmsford
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 50mm EF f/1.4 USM
Notes: Finally some sunshine today! So I took the opportunity to walk into town and find a couple of geocaches. One was near the Salvation Army Citadel (which I last photographed on Day #443). This is a different angle of the same building. I liked the striking graphic shapes against the blue sky.

Day #1781 Title: Turning Leaf Sumak
Location: The Flitch Way, Rayne
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 100mm EF f/2.8 L IS USM
Notes:  I was out having a little potter along the Flitch Way in Rayne this afternoon, when I spotted the wonderful autumnal colours of these Sumak leaves. The tree has always been one of my favourites, it provides spectacular colour this time of year. So I went in close with the macro lens to capture it in all its glory.

Day #1773 Title: Do Not Remove
Location: BBC MCX, Television Centre
Camera: Canon PowerShot G12
Notes: A vital wire in the comms link between BBC studio N9 in London and the Washington Bureau, where the presenters were located, for the US Election programme. Overnight we watched as the American voters also said that “Do Not Remove” applied to their incumbent President.

Day #1764 Title: Cheers!
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 60mm EF-S f/2.8 USM
Strobist: 2 x YN560 from behind shooting through milky perspex @ 1/64; 1 x YN560 from right side through DIY softbox @ 1/64
Notes: After work I had the chance to play a bit more with my Splash Art kit. I was having trouble timing the flash going off, still much to learn. This is not the shot I originally wanted, but I ran out of time as the clock bonged midnight and I had to be content with what I’d got.
