Day #2135

Day #2135Title: Concrete & Light
Location: Southend-on-Sea
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 70-300mm EF f/4.5-5.6 DO IS USM
Notes: I caught some wonderful late Autumn light in Southend today, during a lovely photowalk with friends in Southend. These shadows attracted my attention along the beach, being cast on a wooden ramp over the sea wall.

Day #2104Title: Beneath My Feet Begin To Crumble…
Location: Wharf Road Car Park
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GF5 / 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 IOS Pancake
Notes: We went for a walk into town this afternoon and stopped by the Wharf Road graffiti wall for the first time in a few months. It’s all changed again, of course. This section caught my eye. The title comes from the old Unit 4+2 hit, Concrete And Clay:

The sidewalks in the street, the concrete and the clay
Beneath my feet begins to crumble, but love will never die
Because we’ll see the mountains tumble, before we say goodbye

Day #2073Title: Frobisher Crescent
Location: Barbican, London
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 17-40mm EF f/4 L USM
Notes: I loved the contrast between the blue sky and yellow signage at the Barbican as I passed by today. This is near Frobisher Crescent on one of the high level walkways.
