Notes: I spent a great few hours with local Nature photographer Daniel Bridge today. We took a long walk around Hanningfield Nature Reserve looking for fungi to photograph. This little treat was nearly overlooked but we spotted it on our way back to the car after having some tea and cake at the café.

Notes: My general photography daily image is rarely planned in advance – I just photograph what I see in front of me. But I’ve got lots of ideas written down for my self portraits this year – which has really helped as I’m not usually wondering what to photograph, just which idea to choose for today’s picture. I have made sketches of some of the shots, which never happens for my other photography projects. As part of our Creative Photography course we were encouraged to write a mind map about ourselves, sketch and fully plan a self portrait for our last assignment’s homework. So here’s my sketch for today’s selfie, Ghost In The Machine.
