Day #2449

Day #2449Title: Ripples In Bowling Basin
Location: Bowling, West Dunbartonshire
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: I went for a little geocaching adventure this afternoon, finishing up at Bowling Basin where the coloured hulls of the boats reflected in the rippled water.

Day #2447

Day #2447Title: Open Sesame
Location: BBC Scotland, Pacific Quay, Glasgow
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: We were having a quick lunch break on the roof terrace today when we noticed that Bell’s Bridge was opening to let a boat through. Not something you see every day. Shame about the window reflections, but there wasn’t a lot I could do about them.

Day #2197Title: Wich.
Location: Heybridge Basin, Maldon
Camera: Canon EOS 100D / 18-55mm EF f/3.5-5.6 IS STM
Notes: Heybrige Basin was our destination for a walk today. We got lucky and didn’t get rained on, but the light was pretty grey for most of our route. It was also very muddy underfoot – half way round, I managed to slip over in the mud and get my bum very dirty, but the only thing damaged was my pride. This detail was on the stern of a lovely old Thames Barge moored by the lock at Heybridge.
