Day #2847Title: Crunchy Under Foot
Location: Wyatt’s Green, Essex
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GX7 / Panasonic 7-14mm f/4 Lumix G Vario
Notes: More lovely Autumn leaves today, this time in Wyatt’s Green, found while I was out geocaching. A low-down viewpoint and wide angle makes them very much more prominent.

Day #2834Title: The View From Coombe Hill
Location: Wendover, Buckinghamshire
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GX7 / Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 Lumix G X Vario ASPH Power OIS
Notes: I went on a little adventure to visit some very old geocaches today. There’s a nice cluster around the Buckinghamshire/Hertfordshire border. Coombe Hill has a lovely view and is the resting place for the oldest active geocache in England, which has been there since January 2001. It was a very pleasant spot to stay and have my picnic lunch too. All went well until the evening, when I was about to set off for home – my car decided it didn’t want to start and I had to wait nearly 4 hours for a tow truck to get me going again. Grrrr.

Day #2768Title: South Weald Sunset
Location: South Weald Country Park, Essex
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GX7 / Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 Lumix G X Vario ASPH Power OIS
Notes: Two more events today as Official Photographer for the UK’s Mega Essex 2015. We had a fun morning at The Museum of Power for the Gears, Gadgets and A Teddy Bear’s Picnic. Of course, we took our bears! And found a few caches after our picnic. This evening entailed a trip to South Weald Country Park for The Highwayman Horror (Night Event). It involved a scary walk in the woods after dark to try and find the dastardly Dick Turpin! All great fun. And the sunset for the evening was pretty special too.

Day #2740Title: Distant Rainbow
Location: Great Notley
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GX7 / Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 Lumix G X Vario ASPH Power OIS
Notes:  I spent the afternoon at a meeting in Braintree, then had a couple of hours to kill before photo club this evening, so decided to have a bit of a geocaching walk around Great Notley Country Park. During my wander there was a bit of a storm – but afterwards I was rewarded with this distant rainbow against the glowering sky.
