Day #2919

Day #2919Title: Last Resting Place
Location: Rettenden, Essex
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GX7 / Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 Lumix G X Vario ASPH Power OIS
Notes: I popped over to Rettenden this afternoon for a quick walk. I explored the church yard and found these lazy-looking grave stones resting against the wall to the farm next door, which had an odd blanked-out window.

Day #2801Title: Reality Swirls
Location: Bradwell, Essex
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GX7 / Panasonic 20mm f/1.7 Lumix G II ASPH
Notes: Alistair and I enjoyed a long geocaching walk around the village of Bradwell-on-Sea today. This swirly glass in a doorway caught my attention – I loved the way it distorted reality with its swirls and cast rainbow colours on the reflections. Perfect for Treasure Hunt #55 – Spin.

Location: Ingatestone
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GX7 / Panasonic 20mm f/1.7 Lumix G II ASPH
Notes:  I visit my friend in Ingatestone today and noticed that the etched glass in her front door made a rather curious filter for the view of my car parked outside on the driveway.

Day #2706Title: This Old House
Location: Norton Heath, Essex
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes:  I noticed this crusty old house on the way to Fyfield this afternoon. It was pretty dilapidated, but looked like it was being renovated. I liked the fancy stained glass window at the rear, still visible through the broken panes a the front. A great find for Treasure Hunt #57 – Relic.
