Location:  Abbotts Langley, Hertfordshire
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GH3 / Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 Lumix G X Vario ASPH Power OIS
Notes: This is St. Paul’s. But not the sort you might be expecting… It’s another St. Pauls, not the. It’s in Abbotts Langley.

Day #3200Title: On A Quiet Hillside
Location: East Peckham, Kent
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GX7 / Panasonic 20mm f/1.7 Lumix G II ASPH
Notes: This is St. Michael’s Church, East Peckham. No, not the one in London, but a quiet little village in Kent. The church sits atop a hill and has a magnificent view across the Kentish Weald.

Day #3155Title: Stained Glass Study
Location: Imber, Wiltshire
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GH3 / Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 Lumix G X Vario ASPH Power OIS
Notes: I’ve been meaning to visit Wiltshire’s ghost village, Imber, for ages. Originally I was going to go at the end of next week, but I checked the access restrictions again a couple of days ago to find it would be closed after Monday, so it was this weekend or bust! It’s a weird experience wandering around, but there were lots of other people visiting as well, so it was far from quiet. This is a window in the church of St. Giles, where I did manage to find a few minutes’ peace.

Day #3154Title: The Path To The Church
Location: Reculver, Kent
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GH3 / Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 Lumix G X Vario ASPH Power OIS
Notes: I had to visit Margate today to see clients, and stopped off along the way for a spot of lunch at Reculver Church. I then had a little walk to find a cache before setting off to do business.

Day #3127Title: Abandonment
Location: Birch, Essex
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GX7 / Panasonic 20mm f/1.7 Lumix G II ASPH
Notes: Today’s geocaching walk was around the village of Birch. The rather sad parish church is boarded up and is being renovated – but this end looked quite desolate. I decided to colour pop the sky for some more impact.

Day #3073Title: Inside The Friendless Church
Location: Mundon, Essex
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GH3 / Panasonic 7-14mm f/4 Lumix G Vario
Notes: Back to Mundon again today. This time I managed to get in and have a look at the Church, which is now looked after by the Friends of Friendless Churches. It’s a spooky little place with no electric lights and old, dusty pews.

Day #3072Title: Porch Abstract
Location: Mundon, Essex
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GH3 / Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 Lumix G X Vario ASPH Power OIS
Notes: I was visiting Mundon today, exploring the area. The lovely old church is not now used for services anymore, and is on the register of the Friends of Friendless Churches. I didn’t go in, but the light was rather nice on the porch doorway.
