Day #3257Title: Does A Leaf Make A Sound When It Falls?
Location: Billericay, Essex
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GX7 / Lensbaby Trio 28mm f/3.5 (Sweet/Velvet/Twist)
Notes: I went for a stroll around Lake Meadows in Billericay this afternoon. There I spotted this leaf, quietly resting on the mossy trunk of a fallen tree. I wondered if it had made a sound as it landed. This time, I liked the Twist optic best, which exhibits angular twist at the edges, mimicking the classic Peztval effect.

Day #2987Title: Mossy Morse
Location: Copford, Essex
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GH3 / Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 Lumix G X Vario ASPH Power OIS
Notes: I’m a bit weird and like hanging around in graveyards from time to time. I spotted this mossy specimen in Copford today – it reminded me of the dots and dashes of Morse code, for some reason.

Day #2958Title: Images From The Garden – February
Location: At home
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GX7 / Panasonic 20mm f/1.7 Lumix G II ASPH
Notes: One of the reasons for turning my garden Japanese is that they look as good (or sometimes better!) when it’s wet than when it’s dry. I loved the rich colours and contrasting textures of this corner. Perfect for Treasure Hunt Theme #02 – February Monthly Project.
