Day #3825Title: Cartwheel Shadows
Location: Bluewater Shopping Centre, Kent
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GX8 / Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 Lumix G X Vario ASPH Power OIS
Notes: I had to nip into Bluewater for a brief visit today, on my way to visit friends on the south coast. This wonderful shadow caught my eye and I knew it had to be pic of the day.

Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GX8 / Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 Lumix G X Vario ASPH Power OIS
Notes: Today’s image was guided by the 52 Weeks themes – and I found this candidate for Topic 27 – A Frame Within A Frame while out and about in Chelmsford.

Day #3790Title: Looking Skyward
Location: Tower Hill, London
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GX8 / Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 Lumix G X Vario ASPH Power OIS
Notes: We went to London today to meet up with some old friends, but had a bit of time to kill, so went for a walk near Tower Hill. This is part of one of the office developments near the Tower of London. It has a huge covered atrium which you can freely walk through (the glass curtain which contains it begins about 10ft up). As soon as you step inside, an over-zealous security guard tells you you can’t take photos. But, one step to the left and it’s fine. What foolishness. Anyway, here’s the rather enigmatic reflections with a plane going overhead at the right moment. It makes a great shot for Treasure Hunt Theme #38 – In Flight.

Day #3683Title: Winter Morning
Location: At home
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GX8 / Panasonic 45mm f2.8 Leica DG Macro-Elmarit ASPH
Notes: Tuesday is bin collection day and I had forgotten to put them out last night. So I braved the cold early this morning and noticed the frost on my car had formed into interesting patterns. Out with the camera (quick, it’s cold and I’m still in my slippers!) and today’s image was done. Perfect for 52 Weeks 2018 – Topic 2, Winter.

Day #3674Title: The Great Hall
Location: Alexandra Palace, London
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GX8 / Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 Lumix G X Vario ASPH Power OIS
Notes: I was back in London today minding the shop on the London AFOLs table at the London Model Engineering Exhibition. It’s the first time I have exhibited any LEGO so I was quite excited to see what it was all about. We had a display of modules for the completely pointless-but-fun Great Ball Contraption. The punters loved it, young and old, and were mesmerised watching the balls getting shuffled about.
