Day #361

Day #361Title: Relic Of The Cold War
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 100D / 18-135mm EF-S f3.5-5.6 IS STM
Extras: Self-timer
Notes: That’s the camera, not me! This is my Zorki-6 1960 Soviet Rangefinder 35mm camera which I hope to be using in my Retro365 project next year. I need to run a test film through it first, so that I know I can “trust” it with daily shots (after all, you can’t see the results until it’s too late to take another when using film!). An eBay bargain, it arrived from Ukraine on Christmas Eve. Perfect timing.

Day #351

Day #351Title: Trapped In The Box
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM through Rolleiflex T1 / Carl Zeiss Heidosmat 75mm f/2.8
Extras: 2x Tripods / CamRanger
Notes: I’ve had this idea to shoot through the waist level finder of a TLR in my book for some time. Today was the day! Trickier than you might imagine when you have to manually focus the TLR first when you’re not in front of the camera… Anyway, an interesting amalgamation of old and new technology!
