Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 17-40mm EF f/4 L USM
Extras: None
Notes: Not much time for pictures today, I was still busy with meetings for most of the day. However, there’s one small room where you can usually grab a few moments to yourself – if your clones don’t suddenly appear in the loo flush panel!

Day #164

Day #164Title: Boscombe Chimes
Location: Boscombe Pier, Dorset
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 17-40mm EF f/4 L USM
Extras: None
Notes: Another lovely day chasinge piers today – five in total! Having driven from Burnham-on-Sea this morning, I visited Weymouth Pleasure Pier, Weymouth Bandstand, Swanage and my last port of call was the charming little pier at Boscombe, two miles along the coast from it’s bigger brother, Bournemouth. Boscombe has several fun musical instruments dotted along its length. The first was these chimes which provided some fun reflections as well as an interesting sound.

Day #163

Day #163Title: Hall Of Mirrors
Location: Weston-super-Mare Pier
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 17-40mm EF f/4 L USM
Extras: None
Notes: I spent another grand day exploring piers today, along the north Somerset coast. My first stop was the lovely old Victorian pier in Clevedon, followed by two in Weston-super-Mare. In the Grand Pier I went into the Hall of Mirrors for a giggle, and found this wibbly wobbly example to make today’s image in front of. The second pier in Weston was the crumbling Birnbeck, and final destination and overnight B&B was in Burnham-on-Sea to visit Britain’s shortest pier. All good fun, and a perfect shot for Treasure Hunt Theme #20 – Frames Within Frames.

Day #148Title: Life In The Rear View Mirror
Location: Ingatestone Station
Camera: Canon EOS 100D / 18-55mm EF f/3.5-5.6 IS STM
Extras: Mini tripod / Wireless remote
Notes: I nearly fell asleep on the train on the way home this evening, so thought I better try and wake myself up a bit before driving home from the station. It’s not a very satisfying result, but hey ho.
