Day #197

Day #197Title: Catch Of The Day For Tea
Location: Southwold Pier, Suffolk
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 17-40mm EF f/4 L USM
Extras: Gorillapod / CamRanger
Notes: After staying overnight in Great Yarmouth, I visited another three piers on my way home today. Firstly, South Pier and Clarence Pier in Lowestoft and finally Southwold in Suffolk. I had a grand plate of fish and chips at the pier café. It was another scorching day!

Day #109

Day #109Title: Hot Flushes
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Extras: Tripod / CamRanger
Notes: This one was hard work! The current 52 Weeks theme is Layers – so I found all the clothes I could muster (thermal vest, long-sleeved tshirt, thin fleece, thick fleece, quilted jacket, hat, scarf and two pairs of gloves) and put them all on at once. I was almost dying of heat exhaustion after about half an hour of setup and trying different silly faces. Suffering in the name of “art” again!

Day #23

Day #23Title: Not For The Passport
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Extras: Gorillapod / CamRanger / YN560 Speedlites
Notes: I need to renew my passport, so today I went to the Post Office to pick up an application form. Of course, I’ll need a new photo to go in it, so I made an attempt at taking some when I got home. They are all an improvement over the existing picture (which makes me look like a serial killer), but sadly I don’t think any will pass muster for the passport. I guess I’ll just have to get a professional to take a proper picture of me!
