Caged Logs
Title: Caged Logs
Location: Northlands Wood, Langdon Hills
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GX7 / Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 Lumix G X Vario ASPH Power OIS
Notes: Walking in Langdon Hills Nature Reserve this afternoon, I came across this curious wooden “door” decorating a hide wall for birdwatching. I’m not sure what those tricksy logs have been doing, but clearly they need to be caged for everyone’s safety!

Three-Times Hinged
Title: Three-Times Hinged
Location: Great Baddow, Essex
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 50mm EF f/1.4 USM
Notes: After messing about for most of the day, I finally got off my bottom and went out for a stroll early this evening. I was right to have waited, since the rain of this morning had abated. So a quick trip to the supermarket in Great Baddow was preceded by a wander around the churchyard where this door and hinge caught my eye.

Run, City Gent, Run
Title: Run, City Gent, Run
Location: Caterham, Surrey
Camera: Canon EOS 100D / 18-135mm EF-S f3.5-5.6 IS STM
Notes: On my way from Fleet to Margate today, I stopped off in Caterham to meet up with a friend and have lunch. I spotted these funky door handles on a shop near the station. What fun!

The Church Door
Title: The Church Door
Location: Alcázar, Spain
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 17-40mm EF f/4 L USM
Notes: I enjoyed a wander around the pretty village of Alcázar this afternoon. There was plenty of colour to be seen, but also texture on the door of the Church. Sadly, it wasn’t open so I wasn’t able to look inside.
