6th Mono MayHem ’17
Title: The Old Bearded Man
Location: Upminster, Essex
Camera: Panasonic Lumix GX8 / Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 Lumix G X Vario ASPH Power OIS
Notes: After work this evening, I made my way back to Upminster on the tube, as my usual route home from London was being disrupted by engineering works. I took a little detour into a local park to find a geocache on the way to the car. This handsome fella was watching the proceedings.

Jubilee Garden Gate
Title: Jubilee Garden Gate
Location: Hylands Park, Chelmsford
Camera: Franke & Heidecke Rolleiflex T1 / Tessar 75mm f/3.5
Film: Fomapan 400
Notes: The Jubilee Garden in Hylands Park is always good to wander around, but today I found this wonderful detail from one of the gates which opens onto the main grounds of Hylands House. I loved the shapes – it’s very tactile.

Sycamore Sculpture
Title: Kinetic Seed
Location: RHS Hyde Hall, Rettenden
Camera: Canon EOS 5D MkIII / 24-105mm EF f/4 L IS USM
Notes: This is the Kinetic Seed Sculpture (a huge pair of Sycamore seeds which rotate in the wind) by artist David Watkinson, seen today during a visit to the gardens at RHS Hyde Hall. The light was catching the pods just right to highlight their texture.
