Another Face Down from last Tuesday’s back catalogue – I found these shabby-looking BBC blocks lurking in a corridor. They looked rather sad with their peeling sparkly covering and missing lightbulbs, much like other parts of Telly Centre, which is looking a little bit like it’s lost its sparkle.

The Chelmsford Flickr Photowalk group enjoyed a cold but sunny outing to Coalhouse Fort this afternoon for an open day and display of military history. These two could have made it for Day #1945:
I particularly liked a bendy tree in mono, but here you can see the rest of the images from the day:
Title: Spot On
Location: BBC Television Centre
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 50mm EF f/1.4 USM
Notes: The Sound Gallery in TC7 looks like it has just been left after a programme. The faders on the sound desk still have their handwritten post-it note labels. They haven’t started to rip out any of the equipment yet, but I’m sure it won’t be long.
More and more of the offices at Television Centre are now empty as their former occupants move out to new premises elsewhere in London and Salford. Trouble is, if you lie on a trolley for long enough, the removal guys will come along and cart you away.
