Over The Air 2013 Ignite Bletchley ParkI’ve been enjoying this year’s Over The Air conference held at Bletchley Park, the famous code-breaking site known as Station X during WWII. Foolishly, I submitted a proposal for Friday evening’s Ignite Bletchley talks, and rather more foolishly, the lovely folks at OTA decided to take me up on my offer!

Plenty of the talks in the past have been on technical subjects, but I’ve also seen some humourous ones, so decided my session would be about the silly Face Down Tuesday images which I’ve made over the past 18 months.

If you’re not familiar with the Ignite format, each person gets just 5 minutes to talk on a subject of their choice, accompanied by 20 slides which automagically advance every 15 seconds. So you have to have your wits about you and keep it moving! Alistair kindly videoed my presentation, which you can watch here:

It’s a bit hard to see all the pictures I was talking about, so here they are for you to see properly, with my live audio track over the top:

    I love love LOVE this!
And you’re such an easy, comfortable speaker – at least that’s what it seems like.
And I lot of laughs, I like that.
And two mentions of me! Woohooo!
I’ll link to this when I finally upload last week’s FDT shot somewhere this weekend – bear with me.
Why Tuesday. No idea. It makes absolutely no sense. Which is what I like about it. 🙂
