Steyning Camera Club invited me to judge one of their print competitions this month. They must have thought I was worth my fee – it was quite a long way to travel, but I was graciously put up overnight by Flickr friend and Club Programme Secretary Malcolm and his wife.
My performance seemed to go down well (having been doing it for 10 years, I should know what I’m talking about by now!). Anyway, I had many positive comments after the event. I may even have an engagement at Brighton & Hove Camera Club forthcoming in future, who knows!
The next morning, I was able to meet up with fellow serial 365-er Ken Scott to catch up over tea and a bacon sarnie. We also went for a stroll around the River Adur in Shoreham and took a few images in mediocre light, before the rain set in:
