Ken arranged for us to visit his artist friend Meg Robinson at her studio in the pretty little village of Alcázar today. Meg is an inspirational lady and showed us some very original work. She talked to us about her artistic process which was a revelation.

Meg was kind enough to give us a tasty lunch. Then we were free to wander around her amazing house and the village for an hour or so to find our pictures.

As well as seeing plenty of colour, I also noticed the textures of The Church Door. I was surprised to find the local school abandoned and open for exploration – I wasn’t expecting to do any more urbex today!

We had “homework” before even getting up today! Ken set us the task of finding 10 images in our room before breakfast. With some glancing light coming through the windows, I was able to rise to the challenge:

We spent the morning in Órgiva town, with another assignment – this time based around finding colour. It’s something I’m drawn to regularly anyway, so it was a bit like shooting fish in a barrel. Here are my best 10:

We had a great walk up the track in Tijola this evening – to a viewpoint overlooking the Rio Guadalfeo valley. It was sunny but very windy up there, but we arrived just in time for the glancing sunshine.
