This evening Alistair and I went to London to meet friends for a surprise birthday dinner. On the way there we took a walk through the City and along the Thames to make some images of the lights on the bridges. They each have their own character, here are some of the most interesting ones:
Last night I spent a happy 3-4 hours in London taking lots of night time shots. After work, I met up with a couple of friends who had driven in by car. We had a great little potter around St. Paul’s, One New Change and the Millennium Bridge. Coffee was drunk. Banter flew around. Tripods were hauled about (I did use mine in the end, although to begin with I was mainly on my Gorillapod resting on walls etc). And some great images were to be had, if you could stand the cold and wind.
