Rambles In Fleetwood

Posted by Caz on Sunday, 28th July 2013

Sunday was grey and blustery but the forecast was for better things. So Alistair and I headed to Fleetwood for a walk to find some tupperware. It turned out to be quite warm and sunny so we enjoyed the stroll.

The long stretches of sand provided ample opportunity for a bit of Beachcombing, both by us and the Cybermen! Here are the rest of the images from the day:

26th Mono MayHem '12 Title: Cairn In The Woods
Location: At home
Camera: Canon EOS 7D / 60mm EF-s f/2.8 USM
Strobist: 1 x YN560 from each side through Stofen diffuser @ 1/64; 1 x YN560 from above through DIY Softbox @ 1/64
Notes: An exercise in balance. About all I was capable of today, due to feeling poorly. The rocks are some I picked up from the beach at Westward Ho! during a trip to Devon and  Cornwall in 2007.

Coast & Cornwall Day 1 – Chesil Beach

Off On My Hols
I’ve taken myself off to the south coast and Cornwall for a photographic trip, and will be blogging my best photos as I’m going along. I spent quite a while driving today, stopping off in Dorchester on the way during the afternoon. But unfortunately, I didn’t feel very inspired by the town, and so made my way to Chesil Beach (it’s a long drive so I’m breaking the journey at Weymouth). The weather wasn’t great for photos – weak, hazy sunshine (I was hoping for blue skies), so I took a few pictures of things I found on the beach. Here are a few examples:

[Hazy Horizon at Chesil Beach – it’s in there somewhere!]
