Day #249

Day #249Title: Dappled Shade
Location: At home
Camera: Agilux Agiflex II SLR / Agilux Anastigmat 80mm f/3.5
Film: Ilford Delta 100
Notes: I’ve been putting some film through my Agiflex again but problems with the lens have developed since I last used it. The grub-screws which hold the aperture and focus rings in the right places have worked loose so I was running blind a bit with both! I’ll have to get it fixed, I guess. This was about the only frame which wasn’t wildly over-exposed.

Day #160

Day #160Title: The Ruined Priory
Location: Tynemouth, North Tyneside
Camera: Agilux Agiflex II SLR / Agilux Anastigmat 80mm f/3.5 + Orange filter
Film: Fomapan 100
Notes: Alistair had to attend a meeting this morning, so I set off for Tynemouth for a little explore of the old priory and castle. I was testing out a big old beast, my newly-acquired Agilux Agiflex II – a 120 rollfilm single lens reflex camera with waist-level finder. It also came with a 160mm lens, but this shot, from the top of the ramparts, was taken with the 80mm standard lens. Once he had finished his meeting, Alistair joined me and we walked back to North Shields for a trip on the ferry for a pint across the river. A grand day out.
