Day #268

Day #268Title: C4
Location: Grand Union Canal, Shoreditch, London
Camera: Yashica 44 Black / Yashikor 60mm f/3.5
Film: Kodak Edupe (5044) 100
Notes: I took the opportunity of a walk along the Grand Union Canal today with a friend, while we were both at an event in nearby Shoreditch. This graffiti was quite striking. It’s a mono conversion from Kodak Edupe (slide stock), cross-processed in C41 chemistry (usually for prints). My original shot was going to be on the Foth Derby II but the film got stuck in the camera and I’m not certain it’s going to come out OK, so I’m using this sprocket image as my shot of the day.

Day #237

Day #237Title: The Face On The Gate
Location: Great Baddow, Essex
Camera: Foth Derby II / Foth Anastigmat 50mm f/3.5
Film: Rera Pan 100
Notes: I spotted this curious little chap during a footpath survey in Great Baddow. The Derby’s quirky rotation effect is less evident here, but the leaky bellows are much in evidence! Gotta love a bit of grunge…
