Stranger #3 - Josh

Meet Josh

I met Josh today on the Typography tour of Brighton (along with Keith and Andrew). He is a web developer from Brighton who has recently started working for well-known local firm Clear Left on their Font Deck website project. He was optimistically wearing huge sunglasses, despite the constant threat of rain during our walk. Thanks for posing for me, Josh.

Meet Andrew

Andrew was another stranger I met today on the Typography tour of Brighton (along with Keith and Josh). We chatted briefly right at the end of the tour – he is a magazine editor from Bristol and was enjoying taking lots of pictures during the walk. Thanks Andrew for allowing me to take your portrait.

Stranger #1 - Keith

Meet Keith

Yesterday I was in Brighton for the one-day Ampersand Typography conference. Today there was an extra event for those who wished to participate – a guided typography tour of the town. I hadn’t met Keith at the conference yesterday, but we got talking during the tour today. He was using a very nice Leica M9 and a Leica film camera too. It turned out that he is a photographer from the USA, currently living and working in Switzerland. He enjoys people photography. When I explained about the 100 strangers project, he was very happy to oblige as my first stranger! It’s feels good to finally get the project started at last. Thanks Keith, great to talk to you.
