You would think that a Pirate’s natural habitat would be on the high seas. But apparently the natural habitat for a Minion pirate is sitting in the corner of a real Pirate’s Tricorn hat! Pirate Stuart doesn’t look too pleased with his lot in life! Anyway, it makes a good shot for Topic 36 – Natural.
Sunny and Rummy have had such fun today, pretending to be pirates aboard a real sailing ship! We went to Maldon for a two hour voyage on the lovely old Thames Sailing Barge, Hydrogen. First though, the boys found an old sea mine to play with, which is now used for collecting charity money.
They worked their way along the quayside, practicing their best swashbuckling moves before going aboard ship.
While under sail, Sunny and Rummy were keeping a close eye on the Captain at the helm, in case he decided to go the wrong way! But they soon got distracted by food and quickly scoffed the huge Ploughman’s Lunch were were given during the voyage.
Having made short work of their own plateful, they wanted to start on mine! Hey, hands off!
I was walking along the quayside in Maldon this afternoon, admiring the old barges which were moored up, when all of a sudden this quartet of confused looking Cybermen materialised as if from nowhere in front of me! How odd… They had a quick chat amongst themselves and then set off to visit the Bikes & Barges event which was taking place a little further along the quay. Perhpas they are a fan of Harley Davidsons?
