The viewing box at the Baltic Arts Centre has a great view across the Tyne, looking at the Millennium Bridge, Tyne Bridge and Sage, Gateshead. Cyril and Stan seemed to prefer to pose for a tourist shot rather than look at the view.
The guys had a long walk along the Tyne and ended up near the Milllennium Bridge overlooking the Sage in Gateshead – commonly known as “the shiny slug”. They were pleased to have a rest for a few minutes overlooking the architecture.
The chaps found an interesting sculpture to climb on today, during our walk along the banks of the Tyne. They liked these three trumpets the best. I tried to persuade them they were daffodils but they were convinced they were actually some sort of alien communication device.
The guys are enjoying a trip to Newcastle with me. Today they decided to go out for some BMX fun in the Ouseburn Valley – good job they brought their bikes along too.
Having figured out how to operate the 3D Printer, Cyril & Stan decided what they wanted to make. Cyril fashioned a little Tardis, travelling box of his arch Nemesis The Doctor, while Stan chose to make a Batman keyring. Cool stuff, guys!
